Williams-Sonoma may do it for you. Town Center or the Avenues. We did it for people when I worked at one in Atlanta.

Best thing to do is just buy a knife sharpener. They make automatic ones you can get on eBay for cheap.

W-S will do it, but only for brands that they sell (e.g., Henckels, Wusthof, etc).

There is a knife store in OP Mall that will do it. It's $4 a blade if I remember. I had my full set of Wustof's done for about $40 and they did an excellent job.

Just apply for a job at Vector, they may or may not hire you but during the interview process they absolutely WILL tell you about their fabulous kitchen appliance sets including knives so sharp they can easily cut through pennies, which could all be yours for just a few easy payments of $29.95!

At least that what happened to me several years ago.

I sharpen my own. I have known hardware stores to have sharpening services that would do knives, axes, saw blades, etc.

I bought a small ceramic sharpener at WalMart for just a few dollars. I didn't expect much. It was just a small hand held thing with two ceramic rods in a v-shape. I tried it on my grandmother's 100-year-old kitchen knives that were too dull to be safe to use...7 or 8 passes through the rods and they were sharp. I'm using them all the time now.  (I confess I probably wouldn't have tried it first on fine knives for which I had paid a bunch of money.)

I bought one knife due to an inlaw getting stuck up in vector.
It does cut like a mofo!

They're like a cult in that regard.
