Jacksonville Beach Planned Vision

It looks like Jacksonville Beach has a cohesive plan for it's future.  Maybe Jacksonville could learn some things.

I saw maybe...what 100 blocks in all those plans?

If only Jax had to worry about 100 blocks of planning....

Looks and sounds pretty good and doable. Get it done.

I think this looks great. 

fsu, maybe we should concentrate on 100 blocks of downtown as a centerpiece, and let the areas outside fill in organically.  Instead of trying to do metro park, friendship park, hogans creek, etc..... why not expand out from the Laura street corridor a block at a time??

I don't see much of a "plan" beyond some streetscape improvements.

Umm, it is better than what is, or isn't there. Sounds like a pan to me, hoe.

Evidently you didn't bother to look at the plan.  The Professor's first link was to the "Streetscape Master Plan" which is only part of the overall Vision Plan.  Click the second link to view the rest of the documents.

I'm interested to see what the gateway statues and works of art entail.  Hopefully not more stupid turtles.
