Hey Everyone, I have a couple leaks in my roof and am looking for a good roofer to fix the leaks. Does anyone have any recommendations for a roofing company?

Look at the Money Pages or MINT magazine, make sure the roofer has a viable, up to date license, you can check at the DPBR site at myflorida dot com. Make sure the quote is given to you with their license referenced on the paperwork. You always pay for what you get.

I've used Jack Wilson Roofing for residential roofs before with good results.  Not necessarily the cheapest, but clean, quality work and they know how to do the really steep, pyramid roofs that we have in Springfield and Riverside.  Some companies won't touch them.

For flat roofs or smaller commercial roofs go to Burger Roofing.  Gary Burger is fanatic about the quality of the work and always checks behind his crews personally.

If you have a 3-story (attic included) metal roof like many of us in Springfield, you'll find few roofers that will work on our homes. I went with one company and wasn't too impressed and the price was ridiculous, but they explained in advance why it was difficult to find someone to give me a quote. Apparently, the workers comp insurance requirements go through the roof for the height and pitch our homes have out here. In fact, the owners of the company were the only ones that would do it, they didn't have that insurance on their workers due to cost.
