Rick Catlett really is one of the more underappreciated people in Jacksonville.

You obviously do not know the hypocrite who parades around as the President of the GBA.
And, that $115 will save Jacksonville from financial ruin. - Mayor John Peyton

The Florida/Georgia game is all about the almighty dollar, great article in the business journal supports that idea!

Thank God there's no fun or tradition involved.  Just gets in the way of the greed.  ;)

Still waiting for you to back up your Catlett comment with anything. I get the feeling I will be waiting for a while.

DavidWilliams

I was waiting for that as well. Don't know Catlett personally but he seems decent and at least on the surface seems to be pro-Jax.  Haven't heard of any shady dealings or anything.

The FL/GA game's contract is up in 2016. Jax will not let this great longstanding rivalry go, and I expect the contract to be extended. I don't see any way that an ATL/JAX rotation could be done, and that's a good thing for Jacksonville. :)

There's definitely less push from Georgia fans about how the location is making them lose now that they've won the lest three, and will probably win today. Hopefully all parties will see the writing on the wall and get it done.
Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

Sure seem to be alot of empty seats today compared to past years.  Especially upper deck on Gator side.
