I blame it on the iPhone.  The quote was so long, I couldn't get it to scroll to the bottom, where I should have made my entry.  I've f'ed up a lot today on quotes with this little gadget.

Reed,

He won the Heisman, he won some National Championships.  He was on a local (sorta) team that did good.  He is a religious kid, but hardly "preachy".  He is a college football player.  Lighten up.
Wrong, he is no longer a college football player. That ended the day after they won the Sugar Bowl, that day, he was just another student at UF-Gainesville.

Preachy, as in the God Bless and the way he talks in news conferences is so annoying, in addition to that lisp.

I don't like him as an athlete, so let me have my opinion. As a regular person, he's done nothing particularly special in my books. Yeah, he's a missionary and a preacher of "God's word", but so are a lot of other people, he just has more recognition with the last name Tebow.

When all you hear really from Espn is Tebow this and Tebow that and form other media outlets, it gets old and you begin to dislike the person, no matter what.

Back on subject, no I honestly do not believe he'll be that great of a player, sure as hell not starter material, and likely 3rd string, at best right now. If the Jags select him, which I doubt, they'll practically be throwing a draft spot and money away, plain and simple. We need starters, especially in receiving an OL positions.

I'm entitled to my opinion, if you don't like it, well then, boo hoo.

Bucket: Better record next year, Jags or Gators?

Gators, no doubt....I think they'll be down next year but they'll still win 8 games.

Remember that an 8-4 regular seaon is dissapointing in college, yet 10-6 will usually get you in the playoffs in the NFL.

Double tool!  Jax would be a bad move for him.  If he and the Jags don't perform and win a lot of games, Gator Nation will quit filling the seats in Jax and go back to watching the winning ways of UF.  IMO, for his own personal reasons, he needs to play out of town.  Win or lose out of town, Gator Nation will still love him.
The winning ways of UF are soon to become fewer, IMO.

Take that, Dan Hicken!

How so?

I mean Florida finally has gotten rid of that horrible, non-nfl prototypical qb and now has an nfl prototypical qb ready to start...c'mon.  And the only position that may have a drop this year is cornerback.  They've on paper, upgraded at almost every position in recruiting this past year...

Florida really screwed up during the recruiting season, too - we let USC beat us out for the number one class of recruits and had to settle for second place!

USC's #1 recruiting ranking is dependent upon Seantrel Henderson signing his letter of intent, which may or may not happen depending on what the NCAA does.  He may end up at Ohio State, or possibly even Miami.

OK, OK, don't get your panties in a wad.  I didn't realize how important this was to you.  Continue to curse his name if it pleases you.
