Just dropped into three layers this morning, the quintessential Springfield coffeehouse.

The new morning girl, Jenna, is absolutely wonderful.  Great service and cute as a button.

Anyways, the space is moving headlong towards its conversion into a wine bar/coffeehouse.

Its pretty exciting.

Yes! Yes! Yes! Love that this place is doing so well even through tough times.

It is getting closer. They are selecting their wine distributor now and hope to be open very, very soon. Think weeks, not months. The Zen garden is going to be wonderful. I want one!

In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

Three Layers is a gem!

I am in NC right now and there are lots of cool coffee houses and coffee house/wine bar combos up here.  In Jax, we have 1: Three Layers (unless I am missing something).

By the way...I need cake...it has been too long.

So where the cadre of judgmental weirdos on MJ who always rally to b!tch and moan whenever an establishment decides to start serving alcoholic beverages? Come on, the thread is just no fun without them...

Bewler

^^^ It's really sad you need alcohol to have fun. Might as well offer hookers and crack there as well.

;D

How's that Chris?
Conformulate. Be conformulatable! It's a perfectly cromulent deed.
