Awesome article.

Great photos and great history.

What a beautiful building.

So the food hall would be where the wooden floor/basketball courts are currently?

The food hall component would be an indoor/outdoor space between the courts and Hogans Creek. That way hood systems can be installed in a way that won't visually impact the gym or the building's architectural features. That area will be a communal space where special events can still be held.

What an incredible building! Did not realize all the rich music history tied to this building. Curious if they're any photo's available from some of these concerts?

Also, apologies if I missed that in the article but are there plans to host any music here? Or at least tell the history of the past?

Fond memories. Sorta.  When I first moved to Jax in 1985 there was a corporate volleyball league that played the games there in the gymnasium. My first game there I broke my ankle and ended up having three surgeries...but definitely was a cool place.
