I thought Nat Ford did a good job of answering interview questions and I believe he's been good for JTA and Jacksonville. Regarding the interview, it seemed that most who called in don't want to see the Skyway go away. They want it expanded to serve more of the community. All I recall, is one phone call where one guy blamed the Skyway for downtown not having enough parking spaces.

^ That last statement discredits the caller as uninformed, so his call doesn't count. I'm glad to hear people taking the progressive view that would allow Jacksonville to improve public transit, not destroy it.

Nat Ford is by and far better than Blaylock could have ever been.

I'm not a transit person...but I'm happy that Nat Ford is at the helm of JTA. Every time I hear him speak I'm left thinking that we have a thoughtful and innovative person in charge.

What did you guys think of Nat Ford, thus far?

Taca, did you hear the answer to your question on the show?

I finally got to hear it. It was a very good answer and I'm glad they're investigating other technologies besides monorail. In fact, most of his answers were good. We really picked a good one with Ford.
Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

Cool. I'd like to hear more about the Baptist/MD Anderson partnership and their plans for San Marco. Sulzbacher's project near Gateway sounds interesting too.
