I hear a new club is coming to Park and King, next to Pele, and zoning process has begun for 4000 sq ft space.  Sponsored by the Element Hookah guys.  Anyone have more info?

2651 Park St was bought last year and is being renovated.  I wonder if that could be it.

Hookah lounges went out of fashion 20 years ago on the east coast....too late to catch up

Clearly the guy with the Triumph avatar is authority on things that were in 20 years ago.
Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

Sentient

Not to be a Hookah Lounge, more of a dance club is what I hear.

The space is the old carpet place, next to Glen Certain.

I think that's the old Pele's spot.  There is info on here about a new restaurant going in there.

No it's not.  It's the old carpet place next to Glenn Certain.

For some reason, the notice has 2665 Park as the location, but that is wrong. It should be 2655/2657 Park. The exception and waivers are to reduce the off street parking from 43 to 0 and to waive the minimum distance from a church. RAP has passed out flyers in the surrounding neighborhood concerning this situation.

Minimum distance to a church doesn't make ANY sense. They wont be operating at nearly the same time of day, and patrons of both will go completely unaffected by the other. Any reason that this law is still on the books? I'm actually curious.

By your question, I can tell you aren't a Christian.  Could I tell you about the Good News?

LMAO...The word I'm hearing is that parking will likely stop this from going forward.
