wow...

QuoteThe woman, who lives in Tallahassee, told ESPN.com that she was approached by a man who was not Cook outside the bar Clyde's and Costello's shortly after it closed on June 23. The woman said the man asked for her phone number, which she refused to give him.

"I told him I had a boyfriend and wasn't interested," said the woman, who spoke to ESPN.com on the condition she not be identified.

The woman said the man returned to the parking lot with Cook and an argument became heated, and then Cook punched her in the face several times. Her friend ran to a nearby TPD car, which wasn't occupied, so the woman called 911.

"They kept telling me they were football players," the woman said. "They kept telling me to Google them. They told me they were football players and they could buy me in two years."

"Former Gator Aaron Hernandez guilty of murder, gets life in prison" I find it sad that Gator Fans seem to forget their Number one player back at The University of Florida. "Hernandez starred for the Gators during his three seasons at UF and is the school's all-time leading receiver among tight ends.

In 2009, he became was the first Gator tight end to be named first team All-American and to win the John Mackey Award, given to the nation's best player at the position.

But since his arrest UF there remains little evidence of Hernandez's impact on the program during his time in Gainesville (2007-09).

UF removed photos of Hernandez from the locker room, football office and other team areas, as well as a brick outside the Swamp that recognized his selection to the 2009 All-American team."  http://www.orlandosentinel.com/sports/florida-gators/os-gator-aaron-hernandez-guilty-murder-life-in-prison-20150415-story.html#page=1

Tim Tebow and Danny Wuerffel were probably the most model citizens you could find and make up for all UF's problem children  ;D ;)

UF did the right thing by removing all of that when he was arrested (not even convicted). Every program has their fair share of problems but FSU's have been glaring of recent. Jameis was a mess and would have gone to trial for rape (not saying he was guilty) if that investigation had not been completely botched and covered up by TPD and FSU. The other recent issues are alarming especially since these guys are hitting women. After Jameis and Ray Rice especially, you would think they would be aware.

What cover up? Kinsman gave DNA evidence and the had a rape kit performed on her. It contradicted every part of her story, depending on which version you believe.

With Cook, just sigh. Guys have to realize FSU is under a microscope and the smallest transgression is going to get blown up into "FSU IS AN OUT OF CONTROL PROGRAM" by the crowd who is still convinced Winston got away with rape.

They can't throw him off the team fast enough.
Have you seen the video? Duh?

The video is showing De'Andre Johnson, who is already off the team.

This is why I'm not a Gator Fan your Boy Hernandez was found Guilty of MURDER but as a Gator Fan you put your Blinders on as if he Never played for Florida. You talk about your Angel players tim tebow & danny wuerffel. ::) Yes Winston Jamison had his problems but he wasn't changed, this happens all the time. Believe what you want you sound like a regular listener to TMZ.

Wow. The inferiority complex of FSU fans has to always -- seemingly -- rear its ugly head. This Dalvin Cook news has to, just has to, bring out some Seminole fan drawing some attention to some malfeasance of a former Florida player from a few years back well after he left Gainesville, and the inclusion of this awkward linkage is supposed to do . . . what, exactly? Make you feel better about the bad news now floating around Tallahassee ? ? ?

Really ? ? ?

Good luck to the Gators, Noles, Canes, Rattlers, Wildcats et al. this offseason. May all of our Floridians playing the great game of football demonstrate far better judgment than has been evident the last few years.

^ yes...because we all know that Aaron Hernandez was a model citizen while in Gainesville

The Gator Fan reminds me of a lot of Republicans they always wear blinders. This prevents them from turning around and looking at their ass sorry past.  ::)

The sadness and shame of these incidents is that promising careers are lost because these young 'men' make foolish, impulsive decisions.  Bars should be off-limits for college athletes who are most likely underage anyway. Strong disciplinar actions must be used by all college coaches until these young"men" get the obvious message that hitting a woman is shameful and cowardly.
