I doubt anyone who isn't working in/visiting the hospital will use it, but who knows. I've been known to wonder in there to the cafeteria & eat before. Pretty good food for a hospital! #notashamed.

Are they trolling for new heart attack patients?

In the promo materials they're showing us, it's labeled as a "Chick-fil-a Express", the same thing that's in Baptist. The food is all pre-made and self-serve. It's not a real one.

Oh by grabthar's hammer! First a Mellow Mushroom, now a Chick-fil-A? Oh the humanity!

They also have a Sodexo cafe and a Subway inside.

I can't knock the food service. They serve "skillets" in the morning that are genuinely really good and you get a pretty hefty breakfast for less than $4. The cafeteria has pretty decent lunches- their new chef actually seasons the vegetables now. When they do burritos, I'd rate them above chipotle and one day they actually had malaysian hokkien soup that was pretty good.

With the cafeteria closed, they're doing a pretty admirable job serving lunch in two meeting spaces plus they invite food trucks to come and park out back during lunch hours, with the weather getting nicer, people are eating outside by the river, so that's nice.

I was hoping the original plan would pan out (a Chik-fil-a between the elevators and the parking garage, in Dr. Boggs' old office), but I'll take what I can get.

You're joking! That is one special cafeteria. I love Malaysian dishes creeping into the mainstream consciousness.

That would have been neat but I can understand why they wouldn't want a real one on property- parking is a nightmare during the week and I'm sure there would have been a steady line of cars circling the drop off area waiting for people to grab their food. Subway's nothing special but some folks seem to lose their mind over chick fil a.

Now that's a name I haven't seen in years. I used to work at the Melbourne store back in the late 80's. That was one messy job.
