7/29 around 1am home at 4502 kerle street was broken into. Witness described the intruder to be a black male with dropping white shorts. He pulled up to home in what was stated to be champagne colored 2001 buick regal and walked straight up to the house, which was vacantat the time. Afterwards it was indicated that no large electronics...tvs...were taken, but that all the drawers had been emptied and mattresses shifted as though the intruder was interested in guns, money, jewelry, and other small valuables. Details are not know about the home on sappho. No known witnesses. Please call jso if you know anything about either incident.

Murray hillians - please leave you front porch light on at night and/or install motion sensor light. Also, make sure your neighbors are aware when you will be gone for an extended period so that they can be on the lookout.
