I can't say whether he was ahead of his time, or I'm simply behind the times. Prolly the latter.

In any case, there is some pretty remarkable work there.

I confess that I looked with a skeptical eye, because I'm a firm believer that art is a hoax. It needs to speak to me. (to gain my approval... and I am no visionary) His work does. His intellect is quite visible in his paintings.
