Our Top Local Story: Drying out. Flooding has homes in Baker, Columbia, Suwanee and Clay Counties buried under water. Black Creek in Clay County is currently at just over 18 feet.  Tropical Storm Debby is responsible for seven deaths, including a woman in Pinellas County who got caught in a riptide. Gov. Rick Scott traveled to some of the hardest-hit areas on Thursday and warned that there's more to come because the Suwannee River hasn't yet crested. In Alabama, a man who disappeared Sunday in the storm's rough waters hasn't been found.

What appears to be an attempted murder-suicide in a well-known area. Witnesses heard gunfire at Riverside Avenue and Memorial Park Drive. Police believe a man shot a woman and then himself after a domestic dispute. He died, she is still alive.

The debate continues at the Duval County Courthouse about whether Cristian Fernandez's first interviews can be used in court. A state psychologist determined the 13-year-old didn't understand his Miranda rights and didn't know what he was doing when he waived them in his first interviews.

Fernandez's former attorney is public defender Matt Shirk...he and the other former defense attorneys were subpoenaed as witnesses but he was excused because he didn't have contact with Fernandez during the time period in which the state was interested.

New this morning, George Zimmerman will try to get out on bond again. His bond was revoked earlier this month when prosecutors said Zimmerman and his wife misled the court about how much money they had. The man accused of killing Trayvon Martin will be in court without shackles and wearing civilian clothes this morning.

Our Top National Story: Obamacare upheld, triggering emotional reaction from relief to disgust to shock, as the swing vote stunned the political world. Obamacare was saved by Chief Justice John Roberts.  Jamie Dupree reports it was a supremely ironic outcome, as the Roberts Court has been heavily criticized by Democrats in the Congress and the White House in recent years - in fact - go back to 2005 when the Chief Justice's nomination was up before the Senate, and you will find Senators named Obama and Biden were two of the 22 votes against.

It's bull*$#@. Congresswoman Corrine Brown lets loose about the contempt of Congress vote against Attorney General Eric Holder. Brown claims Fast and Furious started under President Bush. As we've reported, the program was called "Operation Wide Receiver" and ended in 2007. Holder says the House vote is merely a politically motivated act in an election year.

The toll has been high in Colorado's devastating wildfires. The fire in Colorado Springs has destroyed 346 homes, and the remains of one of two missing people have been found in one house. And a wildfire in northern Colorado that's still burning has consumed 257 homes.

Her most famous role was playing the neighbor to Lucy and Ricky Ricardo on "I Love Lucy". Actress Doris Singleton has died at the age of 92. Singleton appeared on dozens of TV shows over three decades including "My Three Sons" and "Perry Mason".

Roberts is being lambasted by the right for for being the ideal conservative judge. In his opinion he wrote "it is not our job To protect the people from the consequences of their political choices."

Corrine Brown continues to embarrass Jacksonville and her constituents.   I am glad I was able to get out of her district years ago.
