He is performing as well as the better known names in his class - Andre Smith & Michael Oher.  So if you rate him among the peers he was selected with, it was a hit.  He's not a Jake Long or Tony Boselli, but those guys only come along once in a blue moon - and you have to be at the top of the draft to get them.

I'd say Monroe is performing better than those two...they are both playing RT, which is less demanding, and while I haven't seen much of Andre this year, Oher has been mistake-prone.

I was just picking names that most people know.  Andre has a weight and work ethic issue, and is one of the main reasons behind Dalton getting hit as much as he does while Oher was moved to the other side this year because he wasn't performing.  I didn't feel it was relevant.

Words can't describe how delighted I am concerning Jack's departure; He has driven this franchise down the ground with his ineptness, not taking responsibility, highly questionable decision making etc. Weaver has finally had enough of it.

I don't understand the whole 'Afraid that Mel Tucker will do to good coaching the rest of the season' mentality; If Mel does a good job with the rest of our season, he should be the full time coach for next year, simple as that. People get WAY too caught up with 'the sexy name guy' Cowher, Fisher etc.
