2018 is a fluke and the Jags will be much improved with a Teddy Bridgewater type of QB.

I don't know. I don't think Bridgewater can tackle Derrick Henry.

Making negative comments about a football team or calling them out for making bonehead decisions does not make anyone a bandwagoner.  It might just be that some people care enough about the team to want them to change for the better.  The people of Jacksonville have been supportive of Khan, Weaver, and the Jags.  Some of us refuse to sit back and stay silent when the team that represents this city make the same old miscues year after year.  We deserve better.  There are teams in the NFL that compete for the title year after year and there are teams that just hang around and never go anywhere.  The Jaguars are becoming the latter.  They bet on the running game, released good receivers, bet on an over drafted QB, and lack depth.  They have a terrible record in their draft choices and in free agent signings.  This has been going on for 25 years.  They must change their way of thinking.  The critics of the Jags aren't bandwagoners, they just want to see improvement and change in the team's philosophy.  In the end, when you look back at the 2018 season, who has been correct?  Back in August it was apparent to most people the Jags were going nowhere.  2018 wasn't a fluke, 2017 was.

If we didn't have so many injuries, I would be more upset. No mentions of basically our entire offensive line, multiple TEs, and our top wideout being injured? Shit happens, what can I say?
You are correct I-10!  Shit happens when you overdraft a QB, give him years and a bunch of chances to find he isn't the one.  Then, extend him and throw good money after bad.  You decide to be run centric in a time when RBs are a dime a dozen, allow your best receivers to move on, etc.  Lose the respect of the players and allow many them to lose all discipline.  It also happens when you hire an inexperienced GM to follow previous poor GMs.  Be unable to draft even at a "C" level, not have a QB waiting and learning in the wings that may become a able leader.  Have no depth at any position, and expect great fans in one of the smallest markets to wait until next year, every year for improvement.  Yeah, shit happens when you have injuries.

Hey look. Another day, another embarrassing story for the Jaguars.

No big deal, just Fournette threatening to beat up a Titan fan.

Lol, he must have had his feelings hurt not being able to score from one yard out and watching Henry go 99 on the exact next play.

Another week, another loss.

Now up to the 5th pick in the draft.

With the 5th pick of the 1st round in the 2019 NFL draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars choose Bradley Smedley, punter from Saginaw Valley State University....

I see Smith has not learned his lesson about pointing on the way into the end zone. If the Dolphins can't beat Kessler lead Jags team, they don't belong in the playoffs.

The Dolphins need to blow it up. No way they were making thr playoffs this year.

^^^Yeah y'all had to win out to make the playoffs (with a lil help). I say Marrone should flip a coin to name the starting QB at HOU next week.

thelakelander

Making the playoffs was mathematical possible, but anyone who watched our games this year knew that wasn't happening. You all can have Tannehill. He'll be available.

The intrigue following this season should be more entertaining than the play on the field for the Jaguars.   It's going to be interesting to see what happens.  Everyone knows, or should know, the team needs a QB.  Just as important the Jags need a top notch personnel guy with a crew of scouts that can do a better job picking players.  Will they keep the GM?  I think Marrone will still be coach in 2019.  Something isn't right about Fournette.  Is he injured?  Will he be a trade candidate?  At present he isn't getting it done.  The Jags dropped from 5th pick to 9th with the win.  Do they have a chance getting Foles?  It's going to be fun watching the drama next year.  Merry Christmas to all.

Word is that Marrone will be back.

The win at MIA was cute (blowing up our tank), but to tell you the truth, I'm hoping for a L vs HOU to get a better draft pick. It's all about the long run, not some meaningless game at the end of the season. I know, it's hard to admit. #tankit
