Jags - The last 4

It looks to me like the Jags can clinch the division with two more wins, one of which has to be the Colts.  If that happens we should take the division regardless of how the Colts finish out.  If we don't beat the Colts then we have to win the remaining three games and hope the Colts fall to either the Tits or Texans because of the tiebreaker rules.  The Tits and Texans are already out of the running because of the division games left.

I'm not too worried. We will win threeof the last four. The only real threat out of all three games is the colts. The raiders may give us a little competition, but I think we'll come out on top. It may be a close one though. And why is everyone worried about the fact that the raiders beat the chargers? Two of their six wins is when they defeated the chargers. They are division rivals and they play well against them, just like we do against the colts. The confidence and consistency we have displayed the past month and a half, I think will take us all the way.

As Al Davis says... Just win baby!
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

Actually, that is Vic's original quote that Al Davis took from him.
"When I take over JTA, the PCT'S will become artificial reefs and thus serve a REAL purpose. - OCKLAWAHA"

"Stephen intends on running for office in the next election (2014)." - Stephen Dare

Houston is always a threat too and we're playing them the last week in their house.  I do agree that all four are certainly winable.  I would be ecstatic to see an 11-5 finish on the season!

QuoteFew people can say that during their lifetime they added a phase to America’s popular culture, but then there never has been anything merely average about Oakland Raiders owner Al Davis.

Actually Houston is still alive if they win out and would beat the Jags in the tie breaker even if we win the next 2. I believe the Titans could do the same.

Just win baby!
And though I long to embrace, I will not replace my priorities: humour, opinion, a sense of compassion, creativity and a distaste for fashion.

The Jags were in a similar situation last season.  Not for the division but a wildcard... all they had to do was win.  We know what happened last year.  I am hoping a more mature team shows up for these last four games...

2921 tickets to sell to lift the blackout for the Raiders.

The difference in this season and last season are simple.. The jags this year have been more consistent and displays more confidence. We have also almost mastered winning on the road, with the exception of san diego and we alomst won in NY. The guys have been working hard this year and it shows. I dont think they will let us down too much.

You're right Shwaz.  But I don't see Houston beating Baltimore on Monday night.

BT, I think we have a MUCH more mature team than last year.  Just wish we still had Kampman up front to put the heat on Manning.   He was a big reason we hung in there for the W earlier in the season.

It will also be interesting to see three of our defensive guys (Barnes, Groves, and Big John) playing against their old team.

Beyond maturity, the team is simply better this year.

Healthy Manuwai, continued maturation of younger players, vastly better pass rush (better even without Kampman, really), Alualu, Morrison at MLB allowing Smith to play his more natural OLB.

More than a handful of players who had fairly prominent roles last year would not make this roster or have had their roles significantly limited, because the talent is just better.

Just win, and Indy has already played Houston twice. Win next two games and mission acomplished.

Jason

I was really hoping the Tits would pull off a win against Indy.  I guess now we should have more motivation to stomp the Raiders because Indy in hot on our tail again!

Keith-N-Jax

That Giants game may come back to hunt them. I hope not. Going to be tough next two games. Especially in INDY.
