I had minimal interest in seeing Avatar. My wife planned on going to dinner and a movie Saturday night. We wanted to see Up in the Air but it was still 45 minutes from starting. We decided to see Avatar and I was blown away. I am no sci-fi fan boy that gets impressed by effects. I am a self admitting movie snob. I loved it. I would recommend it to everyone to see.
