QuoteORTEGA -- The condominium component of the $63 million Ortega Landing development is scheduled to start this summer.

The River Homes at Ortega Landing -- a $40 million project that will include 38 condos starting at $1.1 million -- is part of MLG Communities Inc.'s first Jacksonville project. The Milwaukee developer chose the site on the Ortega River after a careful search of waterfront property around Florida and the Southeast.

I wonder when they'll start, I just went by today on my way to Publix, it's still a sandy dirt filled lot

Any updates on this one?  Sounds like it went the way of the Dodo.

No, the project is alive and well.  Foundations started a couple of weeks ago and if you drive by you can see the concrete formwork and rebar being assembled above the elevation of the fabric clad fencing.

Wow, really!?  Great news.  Would it be possible for you to get a quick snapshot of the progress?
