Boeing plans 60-job expansion at Cecil Commerce Center



The company intends to invest $3.3 million at Cecil Commerce Center to put its F/A-18 facility in Jacksonville.

Boeing wants to relocate a repair operation to Cecil Commerce Center from Arizona, a move that would add 60 jobs with an average salary of $60,000 to Cecil.

Where have we heard that befor? Embraeer? How long will the piper have the rats follow him around town? Same music, similar results.

Boeing is looking for second site to build the new 787's.  Charleston appears to be in the drivers seat.

Is Jax in the hunt?  Jax was in the hunt when Boeing decided to stay in Everett Washington, but didn't make the short list of finalists.
