Thanks for posting - when is the "grand opening" event?  for the whole project?  Is that July 1 as well?

I am glad they are opening up but...could they have come up with a better name?
City Kidz Icecream just does not sound right when they offer crab cake sandwiches, shrimp cocktail, etc...
None the less...we will be there for the opening.

How incredibly odd!  I'll be curious to see reviews as I'll be out of town during its grand opening...

There was a pretty decent turnout for today's grand opening.  For those who like Maryland crabcake, try the crabcake sandwich.  Its pretty good.  Here are a few images taken around lunch time.

For this week, bring paper money -- credit card processing won't be avail for a couple of days. I had the crab cake sandwich and some ice cream yesterday. All the food was good and the service was friendly and excellent. I'll give kudos to the owner who also was aware enough to change the TV from Law & Order to Bug's Life when I rolled in with my juniors...

Looks like a cool place, the paper did a nice write-up on them today. For those of us who still get a paper and read it. But, they had better be careful with all that cash, the neighborhood thugs could come knocking without more police presence.

So their website says that a cafe opened in early 2007 in Jax...there's another one that opened already?

Wow, Maryland Crab Cakes, Kosher Baked Goods and Cuban Coffee.  They're really ambitious - and diverse!
