I am fine with the upgrade. But I don't like the name change.

Jason

I agree.  Why change the name?

I guess a modern name for a modern facility. Sea Turtle Inn screams...um... rustic, old-time, bed-and-breakfast. I like the name change. It fits the new persona.

I prefer the old name rather than this generic new age crap.  I'm sure the facilities were in need of the upgrade and I'm fine with the renderings.  But I'm partial to this place because it's where my parents met.  And besides who doesn't love Sea Turtles?  I mean maybe the Inn part sounds a little seedy, but the Sea Turtle Suites or the Sea Turtle Resort...you could make it work.

The new name makes the place lose it's identity.  Theres just something about places that use numbers in their names that makes me feel like they put no thought into them.

I am a little partial as well because my wife and I had our wedding there. And maybe if the new name was a little bit more creative I would feel differently.

i'm definitely tired of hearing everything "modern" named with a number.  hopefully the number names will fade like the numbered bands.

Has anyone seen the finished product?  Are the renovations finished yet?

The transformation is pretty incredible.  An excellent example of what can be done to an older rather dilapidated building.  Seems comparable to something on Miami Beach...
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."
