Bold City Brewery Update

when will I be able to pick up some Bold City at the local store in Chicago?

Has anyone tried the Belgian?  I had the Red Ale at Mellow Mushroom last week - pretty cool to be able get something "local" around town.....

I was gonna share some Landshark with my friends up here cause it's cool that the packaging proudly displays "Jacksonville, FL"...but then I didn't because it was Landshark. blegh

Hey Guys,
    I believe London Bridge should be getting a delivery sometime this week. Details are still being worked out between LB and Oak St. Distribution.

Our Red Ale is also in Cool Moose now. (excellent breakfast and lunch) and will be in the Five Points Theatre possibly this week.

Get ready for another cask ale on Jan. 29th. This time featuring the Chinook IPA infused with honey and grapefruit.

Finally  had a chance to try the Brown Ale... had to go to "Perfect Rack" in Murray Hill (which is also very nice) and it is now my favorite BC brew.

I brought a friend to the tap room on Friday afternoon and there was quite a crowd there already. I enjoyed the "e-street", "mad manatee", "white ale" and "red ale".

The food was great too - chicken wings, brats and beer bread were all very tasty and priced well.

By the time we left it was standing room only with plenty of constant growler traffic coming in. Great to see Bold City swimming in business and early success.

Can wait for my next visit!

I'll be stopping in on Thursday or Friday to fill up my growler.  It has been just over a month and I have already missed so much going on at the brewery.  I'll have to try the new beers to see if I like them better than my tried and true Rye Pale Ale.

Cask Competition and Cream Ale

Hi Everyone,
Hope this email finds you well. Here's what we've got for you this weekend. First off, We will be opening @ 1pm on Saturdays, not 11am anymore. Second, the T-Shirts and hats have arrived. Thirdly, The Cream Ale (nice and smooth) gets tapped tomorrow @ 3pm and finally, the all important Cask Competition kicks off tomorrow @ 5pm and will end Saturday @ 7pm. The participants will be Assistant Brewer Cody, Myself and Eric from Seven Bridges. Customers will get to sample each cask and vote on their favorite. The cost will be $5.00 a pint with a portion of the proceeds going to a charity of the winners choice.

2 new locations have been added to the Venues list. Bistro AIX (San Marco) and American Graffiti (St. Augustine).

Also, don't forget the lady's of Bold City have come up with an idea to have a dedicated space on one of the walls of the Bold City tap room for pictures of you and your growlers. We would like to know where you and your Bold City growler have been. So let's get some pictures on the wall!
