What Schwaz said, we have to start somewhere.  Yeah, the Jags are a young team but 10 years from now it would be awesome to see a primetime home game in the throwback all black getup.

or the original uni from 95-99. I watched the NFL films recap of the 96' playoff win in Denver and was really surprised by how different the uniforms were and how much larger the pads were then.

Sorry, my misunderstanding, I thought you were saying we should have a "throwback" option this year ... not looking to the future when one of our uni's will be a throwback.  Makes sense, it does.

Its payback time for ending Marino's career with a 62-7 thumping 10 years ago.  New uniforms won't save the Jags from Ronnie, Ricky and the Wildcat on Dec. 13. (coming from a Phins fan)

No more white tops and no more Black on Black uniforms. All home games will have the teal tops and white pants, and away games will have the White tops and Black pants. They also did a pearlescent effect on the helmets. Where the helmets look black and as light is reflected on it, it gives off a teal'ish color.

Kind of underwhleming.  I think I'm glad they've streamlined the options and combinations, but these are very plain; monochromatic. 

Is the color-pallette flamboyancy of the early 90s giving way to an attitude of toned-down and melancholy for the next 20 years?  If that's the case, I might just go hibernate now.

I'd like to say it looks better than what my screen shot would portray, but I may be stretching it. If one thing I hated was how they changed the lettering on "Jacksonville Jaguars". You can see it a lil by this picture.
