Connections - got yellow, blue and 3 of 4 for green before busting.  Agree, purple was out of bounds.

Wordle 1,497 X/6

Disaster, broke my 70-day streak with a combination of using a rejected letter and rejecting the target word, "They wouldn't use that. Is it even a word?"  (You're welcome to this hint. )

At first look, I thought the same fate would befall Connections. Then Blue came into view, and the rest followed, except for Purple, which was leftovers. No errors.
