Had a choice at step 3 - picked the wrong one

Connections was a disaster, my fourth Fail in the last 7 attempts. I had the right idea for Purple, but there were more possible combinations than I had guesses.

Strands went quickly today. Some days, I have trouble deciphering their vague 'hint'

Got Connections with 3 mistakes but needed one assist from Google to complete the 3rd one of the connections and got the last one by process of elimination.  Solved Strands again with no hints.

Got 2 Connections before failing.  Strands was hardest one yet with specialized crazy words but finally got it after stumbling on 4 words by accident including getting the yellow word by process of elimination which I had to look up what the heck it meant.  From there, I finished the last 3 words with no official hints but with a little more help from Google.
