After 10 years, Five Points craft beer shop planning to close

A decade ago, Kelly Pickard and Jamie Burket moved to Jacksonville, opening a craft beer bottle shop and tasting room in Five Points.

They debuted Alewife in October 2014, months after Riverside Liquors and Village Wine Shop — a Five Points institution for nearly a half-century — left the historic retail strip and moved a mile away to its present home on King Street.
