Florida redefining sprawl?

Republicans won't be happy until the State is completely paved over.  Just more proof, as if any was needed, that this State is owned and operated by developers, builders and Realtors.  Wondering when, if ever, the "common man/woman" rises up to put an end to all this insanity.  Maybe it will end when half the State is underwater one day  8).

Wonder if the owner of Mar A Lago will finally be satisfied?

The owner will just re-brand it the Mar A Lago Yacht Club and charge for guided boat tours.

Twenty five years ago or so I recall Clay County Commissioners musing over a needed " Urban / Rural " Land Use / Zone designation.
Subject lands were within the First Coast Outer Beltway footprint.Beginning in the early 70's, Local Government Planning Act and Clay's presentation of a perfect outer loop expressway..... yes.... early 70's.
