Half-time speech in the Jaguars locker room - "OK, men, we're down by 17 points - we've got 'em right where we want 'em!"

A couple of big time second half comebacks this week.  Aside from the record breaking comeback by the Vikings, you have the Jags and Bengals.

Also, check out the wild ending of the Patriots-Raiders game which was tied. On the last play of the game, the Patriots tried a trick play and ended up literally throwing the ball directly to a Raider who ran it back for TD - game over.

Titans lost today.  If Jags win out they should win the division (I believe the tie breaker would go to the Jags for beating the Titans twice).

Just to add, CBS Sports says the Jags had the second biggest comeback in team history today.  And, from 1995 to 2001, they had only one comeback from at least 17 pts. down and this year they have done it twice (Raiders being the other game).

Only saw the second half but awesome win!!
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

Yep! At this point the Jags are one game back, with the tiebreaker. The second tiebreaker (if the Jags end up losing to the Titans but their record is tied would be divisional record. Both teams must play the Texans so it's a little early to tell what happens in the divisional record.

But if they win out, they win the division no matter what the Titans do. Unreal.

Steve

To add, we can't win the division unless we win an equal number of games to Tennessee in weeks 16 and 17, then we have to win in week 18 against them. Even if we win out and Tennessee loses the next two, if they beat the Jags week 18 then they'd have a better division record (head to head would be equal, next tiebreaker is division record)

Only 2 teams without a pro-bowler this year.....the Bears and..you guessed it, the Jags.

Ugly conditions for tonight's game could make for a messy outcome.  Possibly, who makes the least mistakes and can hold on to a wet ball the best.

QuoteThe run of bad-weather games will start on Thursday night at MetLife Stadium when the Jets host the Jaguars in what's expected to be a torrential downpour. If you're thinking about betting the OVER on any kicking or passing props, you might start to re-think those bets after you see the forecast for the game.

It's expected to be windy, rainy and cold in East Rutherford on Thursday night, which isn't an ideal combination for anyone hoping to see Jaguars-Jets turn into an offensive shootout.

So what's the weather going to be like? Glad you asked.

Temperature. When the game kicks off at 8:15 p.m. ET, the temperature is expected to be 46 degrees, but that's slightly misleading, because it's actually going to feel much colder. According to Accuweather, the "RealFeel" for the game is going to be 35 degrees. Over the course of the night, the "RealFeel" is expected to fluctuate between 34 and 38 degrees.

Rain. Cold weather isn't that bad by itself, but when you toss in some rain, it gets much worse and there's expected to be a lot of rain on Thursday night. The forecast is calling for a 100% chance of rain between 8 and 11 p.m. ET, which means it is DEFINITELY going to be raining during the game. This isn't just any rain either, it's expected to be a torrential downpour with up to .6 inches of rain falling throughout the game.

Winds. The only thing worse than cold weather mixed with rain is cold weather mixed with rain AND high winds, and that's what will be happening at MetLife Stadium. There's so much wind expected Thursday night that the National Weather Service has actually issued a wind advisory. Winds are expected to be blowing at 20 to 25 mph for the game, but once the wind advisory kicks in at 10 p.m. ET, there could be gusts that get up to 30 or even 50 mph.

Basically, this is the perfect recipe for a low-scoring defensive struggle. The Jaguars and Jets will be kicking off Thursday night at 8:15 p.m. ET on Amazon Prime.

Although Trevor Lawrence looks to be an upcoming star, Foye Oluokun has been the most consistent Jaguar from the monster free agent signings of last year. He has stayed healthy and productive year after year and has and gets himself in position to make the play better than any Jaguar since Paul Pozluzny. I think he doesn't get that much attention because he played for the teams he has and not on any with a defensive "reputation" like the Ravens, Steelers, or Jets.

Besides would you rather be a fan of a team in an upward trajectory like the Jags that is getting it done with no Pro Bowlers or root for a team with half as many wins that not only has no Pro Bowlers but traded away the only one they had?! (Roquan Smith)

Another nice win... do we dare dream of playoffs????

I haven't watched the Jags in several years, but caught the 4th quarter last night.  They showed up to DU SOMETHIN, allright... Trevor is amazing to watch and the whole team was a well-oiled machine.  (So I can't banter like a sportscaster).  Congrats, Jags!

Great win by the Jags. Nice to see one loser go down in flames. Now it's Baltimore's turn to go belly up!

Thanks to the Texans for bouncing the Jaguars into the top seed in the afc south...  ;D
