Average guesses: 4.64, with 14.3 percent solving in three or fewer.
Easiest word: PINTO, from Friday, July 1.
Average guesses: 3.79, with 37.3 percent solving in three or fewer.
The Wordle answers this week — June 30 to July 6 — were easier than last week.

So, I am a contrarian (no surprise ).  On the hardest day, I got in 2, on the easiest day I got in 6.  Go figure.
