I always thought it looked like they did a good business but I guess San Marco can only support so many coffee shops.

I stopped going when instead of filling my coffee mug, they'd hand me a paper cup w/ and have me poor the coffee in it.




As Starbucks has shown, the coffee shop business doesn't work if the only thing you do is have good coffee.

BTW - Seltan, in the courtyard behind the Panera on Hendricks, has damn good coffee.

From reading the article ...

"They chose not to renew their lease so we will be searching for another locally owned business for the space that will be an enjoyment for the community," Turner said.

Bold Bean Coffee Roasters President Zack Burnett said Aug. 14 the location did not generate enough revenue, but declined to elaborate.

Sounds like revenue wasn't enough to cover the rent and other costs.
