Nothing there is worth driving across town for. I will continue to be a fan of SJTC.

More than half a decade later, Regency Centers has announced closing on a revised plan for this area, as The Berkeley at Durbin Park.

This will be a Whole Foods-anchored shopping center, also featuring TJ Maxx, Firebirds Wood Fired Grill and Shake Shack. Groundbreaking is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026.

Did Gate build the Durbin Park complex or sell the land and let someone else build it out?  If the former, it's interesting they didn't build out this complex themselves as I believe they have owned the land to date.

Interesting that Costco and Bass Pro Shops went to WGV vs. this location.  Wonder if Costco would ever backfill at this spot someday.  It's that magic 10 miles if you ride up 95 and down 9B and also about 10 miles from SJTC up 9B/295.  With the housing density and mid to higher income demographic building in around the 9B/95 interchange I think it could be justified at some point in the future.

What happened to the Durbin Pavillion? It has turned out to be very un-aspirational and snails pace development.
