I was joking. In reality, I don't want Tua playing in 2020. I rather have Ryan Fitzpatrick take the beating as the tank commander.

My thoughts on the possible roadblocks to the start of the season in any shape or form were just a hunch but this interview with Dr. Fauci shows opening football season with or without fans could be problematic. Still hoping I'll be wrong

Tl;dr version: Concerning whether or not we can have anything resembling a full season this year Dr. Fauci says, "The virus will make the decision for us."

Some things that I hope that the NFL will implement.

Play the 2020 season without fans.
Provide each city with a minimum 7 figure donation to help offset the loss of revenue. They will make the money back through astronomical TV ratings kicker.
Roster size must increase. Training camp roster max is 90.  I know the roster size increased with the new CBA but the regular season roster size of 75-80 players will likely need to happen even if they wanted to go the cheap route with 20-25 practice squad players that could work as well. Active day roster of 65 players minimum.

I understand this is a wish list...but, please. Let's be somewhat grounded in reality. You have reversed the provider and the receiver of the donation in that sentence.

Fair! Completely fair!

You're both right. It will be a 7-figure payment FROM the city tucked away into various legislative bailouts for the people, followed by a much heralded (and much smaller) in-kind donation from each club in the form of player PSAs, team gear and tickets to future games for medical professionals.

Week 3 Sept. 24 vs. Miami Dolphins, 8:20 p.m. (NFL Network)

Tua Time!
Do you seriously think Tua will be playing in Week 3?
Did anyone think Gardner Minshew would be playing last year?

not sure Dolphins fans want Tua to play next year - their offensive line needs at least a year to get things together

Also confident that Ryan Fitzpatrick is all the fish will need to have their way with the Jags.

so, is anyone going to any games this year? Or any year? Ever?

thelakelander

I'm currently not planning to attend any this year. Heck, I'm still not 100% sure there will be a season this fall.

I have no issues going to games assuming there is a good plan in place but the Jags are likely going to be one of the few cities that will play in front of fans. That could be a competitive advantage in a division that will be up for grabs.

Papa33

The AFC South seems to be up for grabs every year (for any team other than the Jags, that is).

I plan on going to games if possible.

My guy in Wisconsin already sent my money back though.   :(
