The Bearded Pig BBQ in San Marco announced plans Friday to move into a new building.

The company said in a news release it has outgrown its space at 1224 Kings Ave. and that construction has begun 0.3 miles south at 1808 Kings Ave.

The restaurant said it plans to open the new location in late spring 2020.

Just keep moving that development right on down toward St Nick!

Other than a driveway for the new storage facility, that puts it next to the new Florida Cracker Kitchen, correct?

Anyone hear any rumors of any developers looking at other other vacant lots and bldgs north of Atlantic on Philips?

There is at least one more restaurant/bar coming, yes.

Amen!  This cuts our walk to BP in half.

There is the storage place office and PRI has a building in between too.

The old A/C supply place site at the corner of Kings/Montana/Vine St has a lot of potential.

Just a nit to pick - North of Atlantic Blvd., it is Kings Road; looking at maps, it appears Philips begins around Mitchell Street, where Kings Road takes over.

And now, back to your discussion about pigs with facial hair, already in progress.  :D

Just a nit to pick- it's Kings Ave.  Kings Road is northwest of downtown

Arrghhh - you have out-picked my nit!  Too many Kings around here - like Peachtrees in Atlanta!  :D
Good catch!
