The Los Angeles Jaguars????????????

Would really prefer we have a nucleus of All Pros on OUR team, derived from our outstanding first round drafts picks over the last 8-10 years.
A guy can dream, right?

How is it that The Patriots can be so dominant in a league designed for parity?

Three words... Bills, Jets, Dolphins.  Easily win division... usually #1 seed = home field

Might want to check some actual data. But the excuses never get old. Personally, I like league conspiracy

Since 2001... Patriots' 86-24 record against the AFC East

Uh, you realize you are missing some comparison data here, right? Don't bother. Their winning % really plummets against the rest of the NFL :)

If you want to have some fun, just look at how the Pats have fared against only elite teams every year. It is hilarious. You would think it is a misprint compared to the rest of the league.

Sure... I have seen it... but living in the easiest division in all of football certainly is an advantage.  All those "elite" teams play in tougher divisions... playing tougher games against tougher opponents.

Obviously the Pats didnt create this divisional mismatch... I certainly remember the woeful Pats of the past being dominated and embarrassed by great Bills, Jets, and Dolphins teams.  It just so happens that those team have been in a seemingly perpetual state of mismanagement that the Pats have capitalized... good for them.
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

Bungles should get a win by 12/22. If not Mia will ensure they get one that day. My fish are mastering the tank effort this year. 3 first round picks in the top 10 to 15 in 2020.

Who will it be, Lake?  Hopefully not the equivalent of Bortles, Joeckel, and Blackmon.

I'm confident the fish will perform better in the 2020 draft.

Just got my tickets for the Jets game. Going through a not for profit (actually it's my friend who buys them), I get them at $45 for the seats I used to pay $70 for.  I like it.

Bum who faked an injury to avoid playing is upset to be portrayed as bum
I agree.  He bad mouthed everyone in the league, half his team mates, and couldn't believe he couldn't have his way.  He thought he would get Coughlin fired.  He was paid what he agreed to play for.  How was he treated unfairly?  His day was coming, he just wanted it early.  Just wait, this will come up again in the future.  He will be a cancer on any team he plays for.  As soon as the Rams have a losing streak, he will whine and bad mouth the coaching.  As soon as another back makes more than him, he will cry.  He is so talented athletically, but so lacking in character. Good riddance.

Looking for an ugly win in front of an ugly crowd...

No, the game is being played in Jax, not NJ.

One of the main reasons, other than the hot weather, for the Jaguar's low attendance is their insistence on keeping Bortles long after he proved to be a mistake.  Having a mobile, smarter QB is going to pay dividends.  The cooler weather and the excitement that Minshew brings may save the day.  The team has a dilemma with it's QB situation-keep Minshew or go with Foles.  Whom would you choose?

As long as Minshew keeps winning it would be foolish to change!

I don't think we have to, or should, choose anytime soon. Let's let Foles get some practice time in and a couple of starts and see how he's doing once he's recovered. Minshew is a breathe of fresh air this season, but to be fair Foles almost certainly would have been too but for the injury. Then we can have a competition going into next year and a trade if it makes sense.

I agree.

There seems to be a tradition in football that you never let an injury knock your starter out of his spot.  I have to agree with you that when you have an injury that keeps Foles out as long as he has been, and you have the sub who has played as well as he has, you stay with Minshew.  Let them fight it out in camp next year.

I'm sorry, but the Jags are just plain ole sorry.
