Hello! I am Jose and I just joined this forum. I've been reading some post for quite a while but I decided it was time to finally make an account.

I moved from Miami to Jacksonville in the early 2000's to start a lawn care business and fell in love of this city ever since.

As a heads up, if I should disagree (respectfully, of course) with one of your comments, I will probably start with "No way, Jose" just because I can't resist doing so.  To be nice though, I will write 'Yes way, Jose' when we agree.

One big pet peeve of mine about JAX, is that there seems to be a mindset that JAX needs to make itself more like South Florida, when in my judgement that serves no purpose and dinishes what is unique about JAX. 

Curious as to whether you have noticed that and your take on it.

Glad you are here Jose'.  I don't want to be like So. Florida, and apparently neither do you.  You moved north and that speaks for itself.
