Does anyone know who owns the lot between the proposed Food Hall and Unity Plaza?

Isn't that the Brooklyn Marriott?

Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

This seems like a good moment to pay homage to Oral Explosions, the original Jax Food Hall. :) Though short-lived, it shall live on in our hearts through its inspiring name.

^Trevato Development Group are developing the former J Johnson gallery and adjacent parcels in Jax Beach. Jennifer Johnson (owner of J Johnson gallery) is one of the heirs of the Johnson and Johnson fortune and has no shortage of money. From what I've been told about her, I don't believe she would have sold her gallery to Trevato without having confidence in their capability.

Nice. I have been there and met her...did not know anything about her J&J connection.

I like it. The developer is also involved in a project at the beaches? I can't seem to find any other info about them.

If this and the microbrewery can get open it will be fantastic.

This is the developer's Jax Beach project. It's pretty ambitious.

Thanks, that link is actually how I knew about the developer. Could not find anything else.

A representative of the "Brooklyn food hall" development told me today its not happening anytime soon and that they were surprised to read a report about it.

They do intend to develop that Park St. corridor in Brooklyn, but not before the road diet is completed.

Correct, as we reported. Read the damn article, Cawton.

Just to shed a bit on "time line" since the Park Street road diet project was mentioned. The Park Street road diet's $2.2 million is included in the FY18-19 budget. This project is anticipated to be underway this year. This was covered last November:

Haha. Kinda funny that Cawton posted that. When a reporter posts what Cawton posted, I get the feeling that the reporter is partially disappointed he or she didn't publish it first.

Yeah comes across as sour grapes. Would make sense the since Tacachale mentioned he blocked theJaxsonMag on twitter.
