Lots of good stuff!!

My favorite comment about this offense:

"They aren't built to come from behind."   WTF

Read between the lines, "they aren't built to score many points."

Who the hell puts together an offense that can only win when they have a lead?  It's the freakin' NFL for God's sake.

"Our team can only win when they have a lead. We aren't built to score. Just protect the lead the other team gives us."

This is ridiculous!   Actually, paying $550 for a ticket to watch this team is ridiculous.

The Jag's head coach announced today that Bortles will be the starting QB in London.  He (Bortles) "gives us the best chance to win".

To the surprise of no one, he also gives the Eagles the best chance to win.................

Kaep is the smart one here. He's gonna get $50 million from the NFL pretty soon without having to put his body at risk.

I totally agree! Kudos to him for milking the SJW politics, and getting a big payday with Nike. I'm not mad at him for that.

Um, lest you forget, Kessler  started 0-8 with the BROWNS. Any QB just thrown in will likely look good at first because teams are not prepping for them. Put him in again and you will see what happens. I see no downside at all in trying Kaep for the remainder of the season or it will be another long long year with maybe no more wins. We keep going down in points early and are not built ( dog whistle for crappy QB) to come back at all.

I wasn't saying that Kessler was our new franchise QB or anything crazy like that, I was just hoping to see him start a game with this team (or course that's a moot point, cuz Bortles was announced the starting QB). Our WR situation might be worst than our QB situation right now. We might have the worst overall WR corps in the league.

Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

If the Jaguar's didn't have enough on the field problems, now they have some off the field problems.  Some of the Jaguars got into a fight in a London nightclub and have been arrested.  They fought with club bouncers and refused to pay a $50k bar tab.  I read this online and hope it is a joke.  Seemingly the arrested players are defensive backs.  Barry Church and DJ Hayden were two of the Jaguars to be involved in the incident. Ronnie Harrison and Jarrod Wilson were also involved in the incident. If true, how well would they have played on Sunday?  The arrests happened at 4 am!

Jetlag. It was only 10p to them.  8)

SMH we need a miracle to salvage this season. The locker room is nearly lost.

How can anyone run up a $60,000 bar tab?  Must have ordered double magnums of Dom Perignon Champagne for EVERYONE.

London is expensive. You don't want to know how much their haircuts cost them...

On its website, the venue is described as "an aerial show club bringing an eclectic mix of Las Vegas and Moulin Rouge to the heart of London's West End". It has confetti cannons, a jellyfish tank and a waterfall. On Saturday it was running a "Welcome to Gotham" themed event.

VIP tables have a minimum spend of £3,000, while bottles of champagne start at £450 and rise to a 15l nebuchadnezzar bottle for £55,000.

Maybe they just ordered a single (massive) bottle of champagne. The exchange rate can get confusing...

A quick look at the local news/sports websites only has info from before the game, that they don't expect the 4 players to be suspended for the Eagles game. The Jags website doesn't mention the incident, that I could find.  Did they play?  How did they do?  What sort of "internal discipline" will they face?

I'm well aware of how expensive London is.  I think the players were hustled.  The savvy owner knew he could charge them whatever and with a game the next day they could settle for a big payday.  This goes on all over the world, not just London.  For what it's worth, I don't know why these guys were out partying at 4 am the night before a game.  I bet they ordered a few hundred quid worth of drinks and the bar's management ran up their tab.  Must have been a shock to 4 guys who are used to their bar tabs being much lower at Wacko's.

Apparently, they thought the drinks were free! "The players thought the expenses would be comp." Maybe Wacko's does comp their drinks!
