We got our butts kicked.  And Fournette missing another game?  WTF

TJ Yeldon was excellent.   Blake.  Uh, he was not good.

Maybe next year we can do week of pre-season practice against KC. Their offense is elite.

So is there anyone still wondering why certain Jag fans are still looking for some consistency from the QB position?

Some seem to think if you speak the truth about Bortles, you are unAmerican or anti Santa Claus.  He is never going to change if he hasn't already.  Stop giving his cherry picked, garbage time stats and think about the ones that really make the difference.  ie: He has more pick 6s since 2014 than any other qb in the NFL.  He leads in batted passes, he fumbles, he can't keep his tongue in his mouth, etc, etc.  He is also giving me heartburn!

Bad Blake showed up and the Jags lost.

More injuries (Grant our for the year, Sefarian-Jenkins until December).

The defense did not allow Mahomes to throw a touchdown but it was a disappointing effort, I thought. Too many third down conversions allowed. Too much cushion being given by the corners. They are not getting any pressure this year on the quarterback. The secondary only has two interceptions. To me, they do not appear to be playing with the same energy as last year. I do not see a lot of improvement from young players like Myles Jack and Ngakoue.

And on offense, the line has been awful the past two weeks. Norwell is looking like a colossal bust. And Blake is just missing open receivers.

If they lose this week, things could get ugly.

Blake Bortles is what he is.  No surprises there anymore.  He's erratic and unpredictable, well other than you can watch him in the first 5 minutes of the game and have pretty good idea of how the game will go.  Definitely time for the front office to start looking at next years crop of QB for his replacement.  Not sure there would be a free agent worth the money.  Hate to see this defense wasted.

The chances they will be able to find a good quarterback in free agency or trade, is pretty slim.

Aside from Kirk Cousins, the next three best QB's to change teams were Case Keenum, Alex Smith and Sam Bradford.

Bradford has already been benched. Keenum has been worse than Blake. And Alex Smith has struggled, especially last night.

They have to draft one. And probably be willing to give up a bounty of picks to move up and get one.

The Jags have missed so many chances at getting a QB.  I don't think they will need to trade up or make any moves in the draft.  Some of the NFL's best QBs have come from the later rounds.  I would like to see Kessler get some snaps.  Who knows, he may be the one?  It just seems to me that the Jags keep making the same draft mistakes over and over and hoping for a different result.  Hopefully, good Blake shows up in Dallas.

I see the Jags just signed Jamaal Charles....

Khan made it crystal clear he was comfortable bringing  in "He Who Shall NOT Be Named"..............................  (Kaep)  for a workout.

Would be nice to have him on the roster IMO.

It would be unlikely to go down well with most of the Jags fans....unless he won every game!

It would be cool if Charles had an Adrian Peterson style revival (for those not familiar, AP is crushing it up in Washington, after years of ´AP is past his prime and should retire´). That said, doubt he'll get the touches.

As for Bortles, yeah, I´d love a QB that could lead the team from behind and push us towards a SB. A QB who could carry a team on their shoulders. That said, at the price we have Bortles, and knowing the current QB market, we really are in the best situation we can be in (Bortles haters will never understand this). Yeah, I´d love Kaep to get a job, but I don't see it happening (and we have no idea if he's actually good anymore, so there's that). Otherwise, what QB on the market right now is better than Bortles? Yeah, I´ll wait.

First of, I hope everyone back in North Florida made it through the storm unscathed. But here we go again about the big 800 pound gorilla in the Jacksonville Jaguar room although we keep dismissing the rumors...

https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/10/10/former-employee-claims-shad-khan-plans-to-move-jaguars-to-london/

My takeaway from this is certainly not that the Jaguars moving to London is a done deal, but let's not kid ourselves that Shad Khan's ultimate goal is to add maximize the value of the Jaguar franchise and if an opportunity arises where he can increase that value that will trump any historical loyalty or banked goodwill he has earned from the city. Khan is indeed a great steward for the region, but so was Stan Kroenke, Dean Spanos, Georgia Frontiere, Art Modell and the like for their respective communities until they bolted for greener pastures.

YAWN....Another rumor from unsubstantiated sources, haven't been down this road before....

The main reasons sports teams, including the teams you're referring to, move is down to stadium issues. Khan doesn't have that here; the city has worked with him on everything he's wanted. He's also got a lot of money invested here that essentially gets set on fire if he leaves. And finally, it's unclear whether a team could make a profit long term in London, whereas a team virtually anywhere in the US prints its own money. Doesn't mean it won't happen, but it's definitely not evidence that this guy's on to something.

The Jags average home attendance is looking pretty good at just under 66K (20th in the league, without London's help). Worst case scenario far as this London crap with Shad owning Wembley, we lose another home game to London. Anyone that's foreseeing some full blown move from Jax to London is jumping the shark IMO.

I don't personally think he's going to move the team (and I hope he doesn't). But no one, aside from probably a few very select individuals, has any idea what Khan is planning to do vis-a-vis London. So making strong statements either way is foolish.

It's an interesting article, but it's basically gossip. At least they actually named their source, though.
