Well, I posted this in an attempt to trigger I-10. I have to say, I was a *bit* disappointed. His reaction fell far short of the sort of epic I-10 meltdown I've grown fond of.

I guess this is one conspiracy theory involving Muslims that he doesn't buy into.

I don't have a problem with any race of people, but I do have a problem with dystopian authoritarian governments (like your beloved adopted country 'or lack of' the UK) that would make any communist tyrant very proud. The people to blame are the globalist elites at the top (Soros, Merkel, Kochs etc etc etc).

Anyway to your defense, even some Jag fans on Jags Facebook talk about and post the 'potential moving' BS. Funny thing is I bet in the latter years of STL, SD, and soon to be OAK, those fans didn't act so paranoid like many Jags fans, and their teams left/will leave.

Far as your take on the Jags new unis, I'm actually not wild about them (expect for the all black helmet). IMO the new unis are very bland and boring compared to the last years ones. They talk about 'tradition' but don't pick the teal as the primary color. I agree that the new unis were a money grab; I'm not mad at Khan for being business savvy though.

Now THAT'S the I-10 I paid to see!

Two things:

1) I think the Jags have got better with the colors over the years. They simplified the scheme a few years ago and it looks a lot better to me know.

2) The UK is so dystopian that my wife and I literally were just discussing arranging a meeting with my son's teacher to complain that the school (a state school) is trying to teach him to be a Christian.

Good Blake showed up yesterday and it was an easy win.

31-12, but it honestly should have been even bigger of a blowout.

Bouye dropped an easy INT that would have almost certainly have been a pick-six. Ramsey also dropped one.

Yeah, I hope he shows up for every game the rest of the season.  Especially the one in Nashville.

Those crossing patterns were wide open all day long, including on every single one of Blake's 30 tipped passes. I doubt many teams on our remaining schedule will be so soft in the middle, but glad to see us take advantage when it was there.

I know I am being spoiled and nit picky, but the defense was slightly disappointing. On the entire day they performed well, but a lot of small mistakes. On the Jets drive that stalled at the end of the half, really they were burned on two straight plays but Darnold just couldn't quite link up with his open receivers. And Bouye and Ramsey both dropped easy INTs that would have kept the Jets off the board on two drives. I know they're both kicking themselves for those. A couple other plays with poor tackling. Ramsey said we have got to clean those things up and I sure hope we do. Next week will be the best test. If we hold them close to 1 TD and 14 pts (our averages so far this year) then that will be quite the statement.

Also impressive that we've done pretty well despite a -4 TO margin. Our team's identity is protect the ball on offense and take it away on D. If we can get back a little closer to our identity we should be nearly impossible to handle.

Agree about the DB's.

Less talk and more plays from Bouye and Ramsey would be nice.  This week they will be tested for sure.

I know, I know... cherry picking stats....  Eh, SMM?  Manning, Brady, Mariota & Darnold.  What's that...   7 Rings between the 4 QBs?  ;)

Jags D is second in the league for passing yards allowed (657), T-1st in Passing TDs allowed (3), 2 in Passing 1Ds (32) & T-2 Net Yards per Passing Attempt (4.8)

I'd say they're backing up everything.

Interceptions would be nice, obviously, but I'm OK with them shutting down the passing attack.  Turnovers are just gravy.

Well their opponent next week has the worst pass defense in the league.

Again they are doing fine, acquitting themselves overall as one of the top defenses in the league. I just don't think it's to their standards that we (and they) have come to expect. Secondary has no picks...they have expressed their disappointment about that. And like I said, there were a handful of plays where they got beat, especially at critical junctures, and were just lucky the Jets failed to take advantage.

AGAIN, I am not complaining as I will take this performance on average all year long. But I think they can do better. Will need to do better against the Chiefs.

I liked his exchange with Beachum. Surprised that dude is still trying to hit up Bortles.

Listening to the 1010XL guys made it sound like 2 (easy) interceptions were dropped......

(I did not see all of the game)

I saw four, tbh. I was in the stadium. The two clearest ones were Bouye's (definitely would've been a pick-6) and Ramsey's in the back of the end zone, so that's probably what they were referring to.

I honestly think our guys might give Mahomes his first intersections. They're hungry for it.

Bouye's was bad. He watched Darnold and jumped the route perfectly. It hit him square in the chest. He should have picked it, and likely would have gone 90 yards for a TD. The Jets ended up getting a FG that drive, so it was a 10 point swing because of the dropped INT.

The Ramsey drop seemed less egregious. But I have not seen it since the original play.

Our D is definitely coming to play this weekend. But Mahomes is a beast and our offense will need to bring it too.
