New Gourmet Mkt at Park and King?

I saw a sign advertising a new Gourmet Market @ Park and King--next to the Bloomers store. (I think it was named Olives and Oils, or similar). Anyone have any info on who is doing that and when to expect them? If the space is big enough, it would be great if they could offer some local produce and hopefully carry the French Pantry line of breads. I really miss Blue Buddha that used to be in that area--they always sold out of the bread, and it' too darn far to drive over to Powers Road  to get it now.

Blue Buddha is just down the street on Roselle, not on Powers Road. They expanded into a larger warehouse location, but Im sure you can still buy items from there directly.

Sorry about the confusion--I meant that the French Pantry Bakery is out on Powers--Blue Buddha sold their bread. All of the bread is awesome!!...But thanks for the Blue Buddha info. Glad to hear that they still are in our area. Hope that they still sell retail.

Olives and Oil Gourmet Market just opened up at Park and King. I had a look inside, nice cheese selection, and nice displays.
I just hope they are open when they say they are (unlike the Blue Buddha who had sporadic hours of operation).

Liz Grenamyer runs her catering business from that location. She also has a huge banquet room where she hosts events. I am pretty sure she is the one opening the market because she owns half of that strip.

I'm not sure. When I worked at Blue Buddha last year she was talking about opening a market area to see gourmet cheese and wine etc.

Liz' place is near King and Post.  I have been in Olives and Oils.  theyare clsoed Sundays and Mondays but otherwise have regular hours.  They are going to start selling French Pantry bread, they told me.  They have good prices on locally grown fresh herbs and a great cheese selection (they give samples too)

YEAH!! French Pantry Bread finally back in Riverside!

I wonder if they could fill the niche of providing local produce too. I still don't think that the Farmers Market that was slated to start in Riverside ever got off the ground, due to lack of space/location.
