1506 Hendricks

Does anyone know what's going on with 1506 Hendricks?  Obviously at some point in time this was a cool mixed use building.  The facade is currently covered in horrible aluminum siding and the old storefronts trashed.  I noticed though that the tenants have all left and the windows and back stairs are all freshly boarded up along with the front doors.  It would be nice to see it restored but not holding my breath.  Not too many commercial buildings that old left on Hendricks.

I see after looking through a few records that the building (including the area behind it) is owned by Hendricks & Cedar, LLC since 2002. They seem to have a main office at 1400 Prudential Drive, Suite 7. It's not actually clear what this company does, so I don't know if anybody wants to pay them a visit and ask for something to be done, perhaps.
