Times Union reported today that a 75k sq/ft retail store will be built next to Top Golf. Anybody know who the tenant might be?

Per the rezoning application, its for a flooring store.

75k sq/ft is pretty big for that spot.  That's between a Publix and a Target in size.  No clue what that could be.

The Top Golf lot is ~15 acres and the lot just south is ~25 acres.  iFly and this retailer will take up another 8.5 acres.  Still a big chunk of land left down there for something.

Wouldn't it make more sense for a flooring store to take over Best Buys spot next to Toys R Us? Flooring store surrounded by entertainment makes no sense... Something beneficial to Top Golf / iFly needs to go in that space.

Another article already speculated it is a Floor and Decor store.  One already exists on Blanding, just north of I-295.

Here is a statement from Floor & Decor's web page that matches up to the proposed site :
QuoteFounded in 2000, Floor & Decor is a high-growth, differentiated, multi-channel specialty retailer of hard surface flooring and related accessories. We believe that we offer the industry's broadest in-stock assortment of tile, wood, laminate and natural stone flooring along with decorative and installation accessories at everyday low prices positioning us as the one-stop destination for our customers' entire hard surface flooring needs. Our warehouse-format stores, which average approximately 72,000 square feet, are typically larger than any of our specialty retail flooring competitors' stores. When our customers walk into a Floor & Decor store for the first time, we believe they are amazed by our visual presentation, our store size, our everyday low prices and the breadth and depth of our merchandise.

The old Best Buy space is way too small.  ~30,000 sqft or so.

I was thinking this place would make more sense next to the Ikea.  The lot on the northwest corner of Gate and Point Meadows Drive to be specific.
