I'm  glad they are smarter than the fans and didn't waste any first team preseason snaps on Allen. It's better to not try at all than to try and fail. /s

You live and die with BB5 ints this year and draft a QB next yr, Hopefully we see the Christmas EVE Bortles and not the int machine Bortles this season. They made the right decision.

Better hurry if you want tickets. Only thousands are available.
I was shopping at the Town Center today and when leaving I found that the passenger side window had been broken.  It seems someone broke in and left two Jaguar season tickets.

Hey comedians,, don't quit your day job just yet.

With the flooding in Houston, it is likely that the Texans will move their week 1 home game to Jax. NRG Stadium is an emergency site.

Likely?

2-2 in the preseason, from now forward it really counts! Far as I know week 1 will be in HOU until further notice. Shad Khan said that he's open to moving the game to JAX.

Texans will be even more motivated, how nice our Jags come to town to give the Texans an emotional win, I am hoping for an upset though

Leonard Fournette basically skipped the pre-season, after saying the NFL appeared slow to him after playing in the SEC for 3 years (only one full season FYI).

I hope he can produce.  If not he will not only be Caldwell's biggest bust so far, but there were several excellent running backs taken in this draft well after him, any one of who could be special. Most of them actually took part in pre-season, not watching it from the sideline.

As football season starts lets just pause to remember Atlanta blew a 25 point lead in the Super Bowl.

The race is going to really heat up to tank for QB Josh Rosen of UCLA. This guy proved tonight that he is the real deal. Jags-Jets in Octoer will have sooo much on the line  ;)

Would prefer to get an NFL proven player if that's possible (i.e  trade or free agent).
Going through the draft is always a risk especially for QB.
You could be waiting 2 more years while he "develops" and I'm not sure any fans can take 2 more years of waiting for a QB.
So far this franchise has not been able to "develop" a QB at all.

Totally.  They way he just lofted up easy, wobbly interceptions that miraculously somehow fell into his receiver's hands is an amazing talent.  He's definitely the real deal, and not the benefit of a complete A&M meltdown.

Actually, it'd be hilarious if the Jags drafted him.  Bortles 2.0.

Saying "Bortles 2.0" is so lazy it's funny. Their games are nothing alike.

Rosen's last TD was a perfect fade pass to the corner of the end zone. Has Bortles been able to make that pass once in the NFL?

Keith-N-Jax

Actually he did in the similar pass this preseason
