More residential. Yay! Hopefully some new residential is announced for the north bank soon.

Looks pretty good. Remember that doctor or dentist that wanted to do a multifamily on Home St? I think he was trying to sell that land last year.
Anyway, between this and the Baptist building, which is more likely to happen?

Oh look... A cyclist having to peddle on the sidewalk.

Absolutely screams Jacksonville.

Solid project for that location. Look forward to seeing that Prudential Parking Lot next door get developed sooner than later.

Is that the lot where about 10 years ago they were proposing to build two twin skyscrapers there?

Those were on the river.

In the image below, blue is the location of this project, red is the location of those towers you referenced and green the surface lot next door that FlaBoy referenced.

Isn't this that same project, or at least parcel?

I did not think so but you got me curious so I will dig up some of my notes to see what I can find. There was a Home St listing on loopnet for several months and I am pretty certain it was a different lot...

I think it is. I found an August 2016 Update listing 1441 Home Street as future. Although I couldn't open proper page, I believe this was the doctor or doctors proposal.

Ok so I looked everything up. This proposal is the same lot as the originally proposed multifamily development by Dr. Robert Bass. Although when it was introduced in Jan 2016 it was a 50-unit complex, and in Jan 2017 no new info was given except to state that it was being developed by San Marco Professional Building LLC. So perhaps these are new developers or this is the same group with a new name.

Now the one that I saw listed for the second half of 2016 is a smaller lot across the street. I mistakenly at the time assumed it was the Dr Bass' lot. Here was CBRE's marketing package:

Yes, it's the same parcel.
