He won't be catching passes on IR, maybe He'll stay healthy this season.

Good point. They decided to trade Albert for a late round draft pick instead. Thomas stays with the Jags.

Odrick is the coolest guy in the world. I took my son to a training camp session two years ago and Odrick had a good 15-20 minute conversation with him and talked about everything from school to his favorite movies.

Unfortunately, he was pretty mediocre on the field. The only time I remember him playing great was against the Dolphins in 2015. You had to wonder if once he got paid, his motivation went out the window, aside from a game against his former team.

I'd gladly accept Odrick back for a return to Miami. He'd be a good fit to team with Suh and Wake. The amount of pressure those two guys create on an opposing offense would result in Odrick looking much better than he did in Jax.

I like the One Ocean idea...  8)
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

I hate to say this as a gator fan, but it would be really dope if Jacksonville Drafted Dalvin Cook.

I would add that in successive years, if the Jags spent the 36th pick on a RB, handed out a moronic contract to another RB, and then spent the 4th pick on another RB, that would be the Jagiest example of roster construction in the history of the NFL.

If Garrett does not fall to them like Ramsey last year, my top 5 preferences would be:

1. Trade out.
2. Trade out (take worse deal than "draft charts" say")
3. Trade out (take even worse deal than "draft charts" say
4. Trade out (be laughed at for making such a one sided trade)
5. Best D-Lineman

Dalvin Cook is a once in a lifetime type of player; but I understand your view point. As far as a D-lineman, I would not draft anything at number 4 that is not Myles Garret. We could possible go the Free Agency route as their are some good DL agents available if they are not resigned by their teams.  William Gholston would be a nice addition to our defense. However I do not know if we will have the cap room or appetite.

I love the idea of Dalvin Cook *or* Fournette but . . . I think sanmarcomatt is correct. Although it isn't flashy, we have sufficient playmakers on offense, IMHO, and we need to fill out the team with the toughness Coughlin and Marrone are promising.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are expected to sign former Arizona Cardinals (and Miami Hurricanes) defensive end Calais Campbell...

Toughness and grit. Works for me.

Needs to translate to wins on the field, we won the draft and free agency before in theory. With the draft still to come things looking good.

In Coughlin we trust? I'm cautiously optimistic.
