Observations from today's game:

1. Watching our offense is like watching your favorite pet being euthanized.

2. Greg Olsen is basically incompetent.

3. Defense average.

4. Bortles is slightly below average NFL quarterback. Who could we trade him for?  No one.

5. The legacy of underperforming first round draft picks at this franchise is a liability that we may never overcome.

6. The entire franchise is one big question mark. This is Dave Caldwell's handpicked team, and there are no answers in sight.

7. Finally, I'm not a fan but The University of Alabama Crimson Tide is a better coached and better prepared football team than the Jags.

Blake Bortles Blows

Need the Jags to lose Thursday so they have extra time to fire Gus Bradley. Flush this trash team down the toilet.

I think time is running out on Bortles.  He seems to have hit his ceiling last year.  Slow delivery, inaccurate, bad decisions... compare and contrast with his opponents and he is inferior.
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

Bortles has definitely regressed, but I'd like to see him in a different coaching system. (*cough*fireBradleyandOlson*cough*)

Blake has regressed because of Olsen but that doesn't excuse his poor decision making or inaccuracy

I think the bigger issue is that the national media still views the Jags as a joke.

Maybe that's because they are.

I went to the Jags game yesterday. Depressing, but STILL fun. Hate those this morning who are talking of 'never going to another game again'. Calm down folks.

As for Bortles, he HAS regressed, but I also disagree with those in the 'we drafted the wrong guy' camp. We saw his potential last year. He has what it takes to be the next Brunell.

I think the issue lies 100% with the coaching staff.

Instead of hiring these young firebrand coaches 'with potential', I really think we need a tried-and-true coach. He may not take us to the Super Bowl, but he will get us to the playoffs year after year. Sort of like a Bill Cowher, Coughlin, etc.

It's one thing to have new / young players, but a whole other issue to have new / young coaches. We need veterans coaching these young men...not young men coaching these young men.

It's all so bad right now.

Khan blew it last year by keeping Bradley as head coach. For some reason, the team banked on a turnaround unseen in the Super Bowl era.

Bradley is 14-40 as head coach. He has the second worst winning % (among coaches with more than 50 games) of all time.

And they have nobody to blame but themselves.

He is looking more and more like Byron Leftwich with every game played... Byron had a lot of potential too...

Another similarity is the lackluster coaching.
Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

Bortles may still be salvageable, but if it's going to happen, it won't be with this coaching regime.

Greg Olson was such a puzzling hire in the first place. After 2014, the Jaguars fire Jedd Fisch after the Jaguars finished with the second worst offense in the NFL.

They then hire the guy who was the offensive coordinator for THE WORST offense in the NFL.

Pretty sure former Jags Coach Jack Del Rio had a great time yesterday.

Oakland is a very similar franchise to Jacksonville until recently. They have found a way to win and we have not.
