Great win for the Jags, in spite of the coaching.

One win from .500!

Absolutely horrible display of football in the first half.  And the writer at the Tribune is right - the Bears should have had 3 or 4 TDs in the first half.

They didn't.

And one of the things that we tend to bitch the most about is our team's lack of adjusting after the half.  Well guess what folks, we saw that today.  We went into the locker room getting absolutely killed on 3rd downs.  Jalen wasn't getting schooled.  And let's even bring in the fade to Lewis that should never have been called.

Second half, our D got off the field on 3rd down, Jalen locked up Jefferies for the most part and we smashed in a rushing TD with Ivory behind Alualu.  That my friends is called adjustments and it was great to watch.

Taking the holding call at the end also was a great call because it ended up putting the Bears with 4th and 10 instead of 4th and a long 6.

Blake threw a ball away instead of taking a sack late.  And the 3rd down scramble to get us below 40 secs instead of leaving them with a few ticks left on the clock in field goal range was a great play call.

I'd like to see more of what I saw today, but I'd like to see it from the start of the game rather than after half-time.
A common mistake people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

Stay classy, Bears fan:

Ask him why he is wearing a Matt Forte shirt? He is in the Jets.

Actually, this happened when the Bears were here in 2004 thereabouts. An enclave of drunk Bear fans went nuts after (Jags won obviously) the game in the north exit and about 5 of them started a fight just before the escalators.

Needless to say about 20 or 25 Jags fans tackled them as security arrived.

This is not unique to Bears games unfortunately, seen it after Eagles, Giants, Seahawks and Rams games.

Unfortunate.

^Yep, I've seen my fair share of these incidents from opposing fans as well.

Something that you RARELY, RARELY see Jags fans do, to our credit.

But its the league wide perception that the Jaguars are a joke is beginning to bother me.

I heard it on ESPN, on FOX and now CBS.

I hope we will be "the joke to be reckoned with" sometime soon.

To be fair, it is their own fault. The team has only won 16 games total since 2011.

Anyone upset over the media's negative portrayal of a consistently bad team should instead be channeling that frustration on the consistently bad team.

But hey, the Jags could still find themselves in the playoffs, given that the "best" team in this division has a sentient slab of Jell-o as a quarterback.

Cleveland is 0-6.

Perhaps they just expect mediocrity from them, therefore, there is no joke to tell.

I never hear Browns jokes.

At least it didn't end like it did for the Bears fan in Jax a few years back at the Landing....

Google "brownsiest" and "factory of sadness"; they get mocked plenty.

I was asked about that after the game.

Here is the final outcome.

Bortles... 5 of 14...ugh.  watching his sssloooowwww wind up and throw against Carrs quick release is painful.
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

This might do it for Gus.......

Yep Gus has got his well oiled mid season team out there. Ill prepared, undisciplined and just generally very bad football.  I left jax in 2011 and gave up my season tickets, in 2013 they broke me of NFL ticket.  I am amazed they have managed to keep the stadium as full as it is.  But hope always springs eternal.
