I am beginning to think I did the right thing by not renewing my season tickets this year.

I've never understood ditching season tickets just because we suck. It's still entertainment, and even in the worst of times, I find myself entertained. At minimum, it's fun to watch *other* stars (Flacco, for instance) come to our place to play a game.

Went to the game yesterday, and despite the loss - and despite the fact I went alone, no less - had a blast.

The stadium improvements really do help the end experience. West Club was amazing.

I wanted an NFL team in Jacksonville all my life.  I became a Washington Redskins fan growing-up before we had any regional teams.  I was in the Gator Bowl when they tried to lure the Colts.  I couldn't believe it when Jacksonville was awarded a team.  I immediately became a season ticket holder.  My first problem with the games is the heat.  My second is the current coaching and excuses we hear every week.  I want to know why these guys are "learning from there mistakes".  Aren't they pros?  This year the Jaguars look like lost beginners.  If I am going to pay pro prices, I want pro product.  I am tired of regime changes.  Lets get a REAL football management team in and keep the players we have.  I'm convinced it's the coaching.

Just watched the "C`mon Man" feature of the MNF pregame show... a Jags fan made the highlight... adjusting his...erm...junk in the pool... C'MON MAN!   ;D ::) :o
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

Obviously it's a huge disappointment to be 0-3. It's an even greater disappointment to see the Jaguars play loser football in the 4th quarter when we get a gift and are in scoring position. Two runs up the middle for nothing (everyone in the stadium could have predicted that outcome); third down up next and what do we get? A pass over the middle barely past the line of scrimmage?

Infuriating.

This was a tough loss; the second home game we should have won and didn't. That is the mark of a losing franchise, and that's what we are. The good news, however, is still good news. Young team with real talent. We laid an absolute egg on the West Coast; it happens. We lost 2 games to playoff contenders in games we should have won. That sort of good news has to morph into wins or this coaching staff is finished.

I still believe in Blake but, my goodness, he has to improve. Bad coaching or not, *he* has to improve.

Still, Ben is right. It is a major league entertainment experience and is destined to get better.

Disagree. I think with the right coaching, Bortles is Brunell 2.0.

I think we have all the right pieces...my only issues w/ coaching.

I hope you're right... wayyyyy to inaccurate most of the game.  The defense could have easily folded.

Quote from the Chicago Tribune.......

The Bears lost to a putrid team Sunday. This followed a loss to merely a bad team the week before

The Jaguars entered the game with the worst third-down offense in the NFL and nearly the worst third-down defense in the league. The Bears should've had five TDs instead of just one.

Quarterback Brian Hoyer attempted to hit Alshon Jeffery on an in-breaking route against single coverage, but rookie cornerback Jalen Ramsey undercut the route and broke up the pass.

It was redemption for Ramsey, who struggled to match Jeffery all game. Jeffery had seven catches for 93 yards

The Tribune's assessment of Jeffrey is interesting because CBS reported he had Jeffrey "contained" all day and his catch of 17 yards in the 3rd was his largest.

But its the league wide perception that the Jaguars are a joke is beginning to bother me.

I heard it on ESPN, on FOX and now CBS.

I hope we will be "the joke to be reckoned with" sometime soon.
