There are tickets available in the resale market.
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

Lots of disrespect of the Jags today in the media.

Only Fox host Mike Strahan was giving any credit. I dont like it when any media picks on a team, especially a small market team. Kind of hope the Jags prove em all wrong.

The Refs in this game are terrible.

BridgeTroll

They were terrible... for both. Great football game. I thought the Jags played well.

Good teams find ways to win, no one ever gets all the calls, Jags had it to win in the corner of the end zone and Hurns dropped the ball, but hey, they had their chances to win, the 1 turnover cost the Jags 7, and they could not get the Packers to return the favor. It was a better 1st game than last year, but 0-1 is still the result. Look forward to them going to San Diego and getting after Rivers and coming home with a win.

Absolutely terrific game. Incredible lack of respect given to one of the premier wide receivers in the game (Allen Robinson for the Jaguars) while they rescued Green Bay receivers (probably because of Aaron Rodgers -- who was phenomenally good in the game) a few times.

It was one of the best pro games I've ever seen in person. The heat was incredible but our team showed tremendous ability. Good times soon come.

Bad officiating on both sides of the ball, but mainly against the Jags. Could have easily swung the game. That said, for a week one loss, with our ground game and pass rush looking as bad as they could probably could, we still stood toe-to-toe with a Super Bowl favorite. If you listen to what Packers fans and the larger NFL community were saying yesterday, I can't remember ever hearing the Jags get so much respect. Our opponents are scared. People are excited ot see this team play. And with so much youth and athleticism on both sides of the ball, our upside is huge.

That coaching though.

Totally agree, Matt.

I watched the game at a bar in Nashville next to a group of Packers fans. Several of them remarked that they weren't expecting such a competitive game, and the Jags were in there till the very end. Definitely a nice change from the usual.
Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

I'm a bit torn after this one.

Most everyone before me has made some pretty solid points, but I'd like to add that the miscues are no different that what kept us from winning close games last year.

Dumb penalties that extended drives.
Missed tackles that extended drives.  (Cyp letting Lacy get away turned from a TFL to a 1st down)
Wasted time-outs due to slow play calling.

Where was Malik Jackson???   First game here and didn't even register a stat except for the 2 penalties, one being offsides/neutral zone BS that turned 3rd and long to 3rd and short.
Where was Myles Jack?  I wasn't able to watch the whole game, but did he even get on the field?

Overall we played pretty good, especially after spotting GB 7 points.  We held them to field goals when they should have probably score touchdowns.  And the go ahead TD at the end of the 1st half...  sometimes there's absolutely nothing you can do.  Flukey.

Maybe there IS something wrong with the coaching.  We seem to (finally) have the talent on the field to get the job done, and I guess that's really what this year is all about.  Bradley is getting the benefit of the doubt of not having the talent around him to justify his contract extension.  The writing is already on the wall, so if we lose another few games like the one on Sunday, that's it.  Next season, Caldwell brings in a coach with experience to lead this team.

So the positives to take away are that I think we're a good enough team to compete with the best in the league with the biggest negative is that there are no more moral victories; it's either a W or an L.
A common mistake people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

I only saw Myles Jack play on special teams. I was surprised he did not play more on defense. Hopefully that changes.

^Bradley on Myles Jack during yesterday's presser: "He's still trying to learn two positions. This was a mental game. He's gotta have the football 101 down. Jack will see more playing time when he has a better grasp of his assignments with learning two positions right now. Green Bay a tough game to throw Jack in with a advanced offense like Packers and Rodgers. Jack still learning mentally."

MusicMan

Everyone who knows anything about football knows Myles Jack was also the PAC 12 Offensive Freshman of the Year at UCLA.

He would have been a better choice running the ball on the 3rd and 1 or 4th and 1 at the end of the game for a first down. As it was, our coaches could not put the players into the best position to win this game.

Or throw a jump ball to Marcedes Lewis, who at 6 foot 7 towers over all the defensive backs in the league.  Those 2 plays led me to believe the coaching staff was not prepared for the situation.

JaxAvondale

Rodgers would have worked Jack and use his speed against him.
